Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of Mesakem, a meeting and call summarization service. By using Mesakem, you agree to these Terms.

Service

Mesakem can join supported online meetings as a visible assistant, record or process meeting audio, generate transcripts and summaries, and send summaries to verified email recipients. Mesakem can also detect meetings from connected calendars when authorized by the user.

User responsibility and consent

You are responsible for using Mesakem lawfully and for ensuring that meeting participants are informed where required. Mesakem is designed to join meetings visibly and not as a hidden participant.

Account and access

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and connected accounts. Do not share passwords, API keys, OAuth secrets, or sensitive credentials with unauthorized parties.

Connected calendars

If you connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook Calendar, you authorize Mesakem to read calendar events for the purpose of detecting supported meeting links and scheduling the assistant. Mesakem does not create, edit, or delete calendar events as part of the current service.

Content

You retain rights to your meeting content, transcripts, and summaries. You grant Mesakem permission to process that content only as needed to provide the service, maintain reliability, and comply with legal and security obligations.

Acceptable use

You may not use Mesakem for unlawful surveillance, hidden recording, harassment, unauthorized access, or any activity that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

Availability and accuracy

Mesakem is provided on a best-effort basis. Summaries and transcripts may contain errors and should be reviewed before relying on them for legal, financial, medical, or other high-impact decisions.

Third-party services

Mesakem relies on third-party services such as hosting, email, AI processing, calendar providers, and meeting platforms. Their own terms and availability may apply.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if the service is misused, creates security risk, or violates these Terms.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Mesakem after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
