The Mesakem knowledge hub

Practical guides for better meeting records and follow-through

Start with the question you need to answer: how an AI meeting agent works, what belongs in a useful summary, when to open the transcript, how admission differs across Zoom, Teams and Google Meet, or how to ask Claude and Codex about your Mesakem data through a read-only connector.

Where should I start?

Begin with the AI meeting agent if you are evaluating the workflow. Read the meeting-summary page when you need a useful output structure, the transcription page when exact wording matters, a platform page when admission is the problem, the phone-call page for supported LINK recordings, or the AI connectors guide when you want read-only access from Claude or Codex.

Product and platform guides

Choose the source and workflow that match your conversations.

Connect your workflow

Understand the setup, permissions and boundaries of AI connectors.

Practical meeting guides

Build records that help people verify decisions and follow through.

Compare AI meeting assistants

Evaluate current evidence, exact sources and buyer fit — not an invented ranking.

Start with the meeting-to-action workflow

Understand the product path before comparing individual details.

The AI meeting agent guide explains how Mesakem enters a supported online meeting as a visible participant, remains subject to host admission, documents the conversation and creates a reviewable output.

The automatic meeting-summary guide focuses on what the output should contain: context, decisions, actions, owners, stated dates and unresolved questions.

  • AI meeting agent for the complete workflow
  • Automatic meeting summaries for output structure
  • Visible admission and participant notice
  • Review before sensitive sharing or action

Choose between source detail and rapid understanding

The transcript and summary answer different questions.

Use the transcription guide when you need to evaluate the detailed record, speaker context, names, numbers or exact wording. Use the meeting-summary guide when the team needs a fast understanding of what changed and what happens next.

Neither layer should be treated as infallible. High-impact details should be checked against the available source and missing information should remain visibly missing.

  • Transcript for evidence and context
  • Summary for decisions and follow-up
  • Quality checks for names, figures, dates and owners
  • Permission-aware sharing

Prepare the meeting platform before the call

Each platform controls guest admission differently.

The Zoom guide covers Waiting Room, guest authentication and bot restrictions. The Microsoft Teams guide covers lobby controls, external-participant policy and identity labels.

The Google Meet guide covers Calendar invitation status, admission requests and the distinction between Mesakem and Google's native recording or transcript features.

  • Zoom Waiting Room and guest controls
  • Teams lobby and external-participant settings
  • Google Meet Calendar invitation and knock flow
  • Known test meeting before critical use

Use the correct path for an existing recording or phone call

Not every conversation uses the live meeting agent.

An existing recording can be uploaded through the dashboard and processed after the conversation. Recorded business phone calls use a separate supported provider connector.

The phone-call guide documents the current LINK-only connector, recording availability, scan settings and verified recipients. It does not imply every carrier or PBX is supported.

  • Manual upload for an existing recording
  • LINK connector for available recorded calls
  • No live phone-call bot claim
  • No universal PBX claim

Bring meeting results into Claude or Codex with read-only MCP

The connector guide is for users who want to query Mesakem from an AI assistant.

The guide explains the documented MCP implementation and configuration: endpoint, browser-based sign-in, four read-only tools, Claude and Codex setup, and disconnection. Confirm availability for your account and environment before setup.

It also states the boundary clearly: the connector can return summaries, decisions, search results and meeting-derived tasks within the signed-in user's permissions, but not audio, video or full transcripts.

  • Claude custom connector setup
  • Codex Streamable HTTP MCP setup
  • Read-only, user-scoped tools
  • No Mesakem password or API key pasted into the assistant

Questions and answers

What can I find in this knowledge hub?

Explore product and platform guides, practical articles about meeting records and action items, and evidence-based comparisons of AI meeting assistants. Choose the resource that matches your next workflow decision.

Which guide explains the difference between a transcript and a summary?

Start with the meeting transcription page. It explains when to use the detailed source and when to use the shorter action layer.

Where do I troubleshoot a bot that cannot enter?

Open the platform-specific Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet guide because waiting-room, lobby, guest and invitation rules differ.

Where do I learn about phone-call support?

Use the phone-call summary guide. It documents the current LINK recording connector and distinguishes it from uploads and live online meetings.

Where do I connect Claude or Codex?

Use the AI connectors guide for the endpoint, setup steps, read-only capabilities, privacy boundaries and disconnection instructions.

Choose one question and test the workflow

Read the guide that matches your next meeting, recording or connector decision, then verify it with a known conversation before wider use.
