Terms of Service
These Terms are an agreement between you and Januar Technologies Ltd (JANUAR TECHNOLOGIES LTD), company number 516721248, registered in Israel at HaLivne 5, Rishon LeZion 7555609, Israel ("Mesakem", "we"), which operates the Mesakem service and the domain mesakem.com. Mesakem is a service for summarizing meetings and calls. By using Mesakem, you agree to these Terms.
Service
Mesakem can join supported online meetings as a visible assistant, record meetings from the desktop app, process phone-call recordings from connected call providers and recordings you upload, generate transcripts, summaries and tasks, answer questions about your content through an AI agent on the web and in Telegram, send summaries to verified email recipients, and make your data available through an API and webhooks. Mesakem can also detect meetings from connected calendars when you authorize it.
User responsibility and consent
You are responsible for using Mesakem lawfully and for ensuring that meeting participants are informed where required. Mesakem is designed to join meetings visibly and not as a hidden participant.
Account and access
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and connected accounts. Do not share passwords, API keys, OAuth secrets, or sensitive credentials with unauthorized parties.
Connected calendars
If you connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook Calendar, you authorize Mesakem to read calendar events for the purpose of detecting supported meeting links and scheduling the assistant. Mesakem uses read-only calendar access and does not create, edit, delete, sell, or use calendar event data for advertising.
Content
You retain rights to your meeting content, transcripts, and summaries. You grant Mesakem permission to process that content only as needed to provide the service, maintain reliability, and comply with legal and security obligations.
Acceptable use
You may not use Mesakem for unlawful surveillance, hidden recording, harassment, unauthorized access, or any activity that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
API, webhooks and connected services
An API key acts on your behalf and can reach the same data your account can. Keep keys secret, give each key only the permissions it needs, and revoke any key you no longer use or suspect has leaked. You are responsible for activity made with your keys.
When you set up a webhook, or connect Mesakem to another service (for example Jira, Trello, Telegram or an automation platform), you choose to send your data to that destination. That service's own terms and privacy practices apply to the data once it arrives there, and you are responsible for having the right to send it.
We apply rate limits and usage limits to the API and may change them. We may suspend a key, an endpoint or a connection that is misused, endangers the service or other users, or keeps failing. Organization administrators can view, pause or revoke the keys, webhook endpoints and connections of members of their organization.
Plans, prices and payment
Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or annually, at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. List prices are shown in US dollars.
Customers billed in Israel buy from Januar Technologies Ltd. The charge is made in Israeli shekels, converted from the dollar price at the exchange rate shown at checkout, with Israeli VAT added. The exchange rate, the VAT and the exact shekel amount are shown before you confirm. Card payments are processed by Cardcom, and we issue a tax document through Invoice4U.
Renewal and cancellation
You can cancel at any time. If you pay through Cardcom, cancel under Settings in your Mesakem account. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that.
Refunds
If you ask within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, we refund that first payment in full. Write to support@mesakem.com. Renewal payments are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time, and your paid plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. This does not limit any right you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you.
Availability and accuracy
Mesakem is provided on a best-effort basis. Transcripts, summaries, tasks and AI agent answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Review them before relying on them for legal, financial, medical or other high-impact decisions.
Third-party services
Mesakem relies on third-party services such as hosting, email, AI processing, calendar providers, and meeting platforms. Their own terms and availability may apply.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if the service is misused, creates security risk, or violates these Terms.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Mesakem after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the consumer protection law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. If you are a consumer living outside Israel, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
Language of these Terms
These Terms are published in Hebrew and in English. For customers in Israel, the Hebrew version, published at mesakem.com/terms, governs. For customers outside Israel, this English version governs.
