Mesakem guides
AI phone call summaries from supported LINK recordings
Mesakem connects to the supported LINK call-recording provider and processes a call after its recording is available. It turns the recording into a transcript and practical summary with key points, decisions, commitments, tasks and owners. This is a post-call recording workflow, not a bot joining a live phone call and not a claim of universal PBX support.
How does Mesakem summarize phone calls?
Connect an authorized LINK account, configure the scan schedule and verified recipients, and make sure the call recording is available in LINK. Mesakem can then process the recording into a transcript and summary. A call without an accessible recording cannot be summarized through this connector.
Start with the exact supported workflow
Phone-call processing is different from the online meeting bot.
The current configured provider in Mesakem's call-connector processing path is LINK. The product scans enabled LINK connectors and handles recordings available through that account.
Mesakem does not join the live phone call in this flow. It does not claim automatic access to every carrier, contact center or PBX. Teams using another provider should treat support as unconfirmed unless Mesakem verifies a specific integration.
- Supported provider: LINK
- Input: an available recorded call
- Timing: after the recording is accessible
- No universal PBX or live-call claim
Connect, schedule and verify recipients
A reliable call-summary flow depends on recording access and delivery controls.
Connect the LINK account from the dashboard and confirm that it can access the recorded calls intended for processing. Configure the scan window or schedule to match the team's operational routine.
Summary delivery uses recipient addresses verified in Mesakem. If a call is present but its recording is not yet available, it cannot be processed at that moment and may be checked again according to the configured workflow.
- Authorized LINK account
- Recording access
- Configured scan schedule or range
- Verified email recipients
- Known test call before wider use
Replace replaying with structured follow-up
The recording remains the source; the summary makes the next action easier to find.
A call summary can separate the customer's request, pain points, questions and context from commitments made by either side. Follow-up actions can then be routed without asking every teammate to replay the entire audio file.
The output should preserve uncertainty. If ownership, timing or a final decision was not stated, the summary should leave that item open rather than inventing completion.
- Customer needs and objections
- Decisions and mutual commitments
- Tasks, owners and stated timing
- Open questions and next contact
- Transcript for source review
Useful wherever the work starts after the call
Recorded-call summaries help teams that need consistent handoffs.
Sales teams can preserve needs, objections and promised next steps. Customer-service teams can document the issue, checks performed and the person responsible for continuing the case.
Collections, retention and account-management teams can keep agreements, dates and sensitive context visible before the next conversation, subject to appropriate access and review.
- Sales and qualification
- Customer service
- Collections and retention
- Account management and coordination
Confirm recording authority, notice and sensitive details
Technical access to a recording does not replace the organization's legal and policy responsibilities.
Before enabling processing, confirm that calls are recorded under the organization's policy and applicable law, that required participant notices are handled, and that the connected account is authorized for the recordings.
Review names, phone numbers, amounts, dates, promises and other consequential details against the source before external sharing or operational action.
- Authorized recording access
- Participant notice where required
- Verified delivery recipients
- Review of sensitive facts
- Appropriate retention and permissions
Questions and answers
Which phone provider does Mesakem currently support?
The implemented call-recording connector described here is LINK. The page does not claim support for every carrier or PBX.
Does Mesakem join a live phone call?
Not in this workflow. Mesakem processes a call after an accessible recording is available through the supported LINK connector.
Is every call automatically summarized?
Only a call within the configured workflow that has an available recording can be processed. Scanning and recipient settings remain under the account's control.
Can uploaded recordings be summarized too?
Yes. Manual upload is a separate input path for an existing recording and does not require representing it as a LINK call.
Who receives a call summary?
The LINK workflow sends summaries to email recipients configured and verified in Mesakem. Teams should review access and retention rules for their own use.
