Mesakem for hiring teams

Interview notes your hiring panel can actually compare

In an interview you should be listening, not typing. Mesakem records the interview on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, or in person with the Windows and Mac app or the phone app, and gives you a transcript by speaker and a structured summary, built on the template your team defines.

An example interview summary. The candidate and details are invented.

How do I take interview notes without missing what the candidate says?

Tell the candidate the interview is recorded, then let Mesakem take the notes. After the interview you get a summary in the same structure for every candidate, a full transcript by speaker, and every line linked to the moment it was said. Mesakem documents the conversation; the evaluation and the decision stay with your team.

How it works

  1. Tell the candidate

Say the interview is recorded, and get consent where required.

  2. Record the interview

With the bot on a video call, or the desktop or phone app in person.

  3. Get a consistent summary

The same template for every candidate, with quotes to check.

  4. Debrief with the panel

Share the notes and ask the interview your questions.

The same record for every candidate

Build an interview template once, in a short chat with the AI, and every interview is summarized the same way. Your panel compares the same things for every candidate, instead of three people's handwriting.

  • Relevant experience, in the candidate's own words
  • The examples they gave
  • The questions they asked you
  • Logistics: notice period, location, start date
  • Points to follow up in the next round

Quotes you can go back to

Memory blurs after a day of interviews. Click any line in the summary to jump to the exact moment, see who said it and hear it, so the debrief is about what the candidate said, not what someone remembers.

Faster debriefs

Share the summary with the hiring manager by link or by email. Anyone with the link can ask the interview a question, such as "What did she say about leading a migration?", and get an answer from the transcript.

Group every meeting of a role into one room: a running log of decisions, the open topics, and one question answered from all of those meetings at once, such as "Which candidates have worked with distributed teams?" Each answer names the meeting it came from.

Questions and answers

Does Mesakem tell me who to hire?

No. Mesakem records and summarizes what was said. It does not score, rank or recommend candidates; that judgment stays with your team.

Do I need the candidate's consent?

Tell every candidate that the interview is recorded, and get consent where the law requires it. The recording and consent page explains what to say.

Can I use it for in-person interviews?

Yes. Record with the Windows and Mac app on a laptop at the table, or with the iPhone and Android app. You get the same transcript and summary as an online interview.

Can I share the notes with the hiring manager?

Yes, with a share link or by email to a verified address. In an organization, each person has a private space and managers see usage, never meetings, unless someone shares one.

How much does it cost?

Your first 10 meetings are free, up to 90 minutes each, with no credit card. That is a one-time allowance, not a monthly one. Pro is $29 a month, or $19 a month billed annually, with unlimited meetings.

Are interviews used to train AI?

No. Your meetings, recordings and transcripts are never used to train AI, by us or by our AI providers. They are visible to you and to the people you choose to share them with.
