How do I record a meeting without a bot joining?
Install the Mesakem app on Windows 10 or later or on a Mac with Apple silicon, sign in with your Mesakem account and press start when the meeting begins. When you stop, the recording is transcribed and summarized, and the meeting appears in your dashboard next to all the others.

When to use the app instead of the bot
The bot is the easiest way to record Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. The app covers everything else.

Recording in the open

Which computers does it run on?
Windows 10 or later, and Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later).
Do I still need the bot?
Not for meetings you record with the app. For Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet you can choose either: the visible bot joins from your calendar, or the app records on your computer.
Will the other people know I am recording?
Only if you tell them, because no participant joins. Tell them at the start, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Is it free?
The app is free to download. Recordings count as meetings: your first 10 are free, up to 90 minutes each. Smart dictation is free up to 60 minutes a month.
Is there a phone app too?
Yes. The Mesakem app for iPhone and Android records with one tap, even with the screen locked, and the summary arrives a few minutes after you stop.
Are my recordings used to train AI?
No. Your meetings, recordings and transcripts are never used to train AI, by us or by our AI providers. They are visible to you and to the people you choose to share them with.
