Mesakem guides

Meeting notes for teams that work in Hebrew and English

Your team in Tel Aviv meets in Hebrew. Your customers, investors or headquarters read English. Mesakem sits in between: it transcribes Hebrew, English and the mix of both that real Israeli meetings are made of, and turns every meeting into a summary in the language you choose.

10 free meetings · No credit card

An example of a meeting that mixes Hebrew and English, summarized in English. The names are invented.

Can one tool handle both Hebrew and English meetings?

Yes. Mesakem detects the spoken language automatically in the meetings it joins and in desktop recordings, so a Hebrew stand-up and an English customer call are both handled without changing any settings. Summaries are written in Hebrew or in English, so a meeting held in Hebrew can still reach colleagues abroad as an English summary.

Made for teams split between languages

Most meeting assistants treat Hebrew as one more item in a language list. Mesakem started from Hebrew and added English, so both come first: right-to-left Hebrew summaries that read naturally, and English summaries for everyone else.

  • Israeli startups selling to customers in the US and Europe
  • Consultants and agencies with Hebrew- and English-speaking clients

Hebrew sentences full of English words

Israeli meetings switch languages all the time: product names, acronyms, tools and sometimes whole sentences in English. The language is detected automatically for meetings the bot joins and for desktop recordings, and the summary is written in the language you picked.

Uploaded files are transcribed in the language you choose for them. As with any transcription, test it on your own meetings, with your own names and terms; the first 10 meetings are free.

One meeting record for both sides

Everyone works from the same record: the transcript in the original language, the summary in Hebrew or English, and the tasks with their owners and due dates. Share it by email with a Word file, with a link, or send the tasks to your team's task tool.

Rooms collect every meeting of a client or a project, so you can ask one question across all of them and get an answer with links to the meetings it came from.

Typing in Hebrew and English, too

The Windows and Mac app includes smart dictation: hold a key, speak, and clean, punctuated text appears in any app, Hebrew first and English too. It is free for up to 60 minutes a month.

Questions and answers

Do I need to set the language before every meeting?

No. For meetings the bot joins and for desktop recordings, Mesakem detects the language automatically. For uploaded files and phone calls you choose the language once in your settings.

Can the summary be in English when the meeting was in Hebrew?

Yes. Set the summary language to English and every summary, with its decisions and tasks, is written in English. The transcript keeps the original language.

Is the app itself available in English?

Yes. The dashboard, the emails and the summaries are available in English and in Hebrew, and you can switch at any time.

Which meetings are supported?

Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet through a visible bot, in-person meetings and any other platform with the Windows and Mac app, and audio or video files you upload.

How much does it cost?

Your first 10 meetings are free, up to 90 minutes each, with no credit card. That is a one-time allowance, not a monthly one. Pro is $29 a month, or $19 a month billed annually, with unlimited meetings.

Are my meetings used to train AI?

No. Your meetings, recordings and transcripts are not used to train AI models. They are visible to you and to the people you choose to share them with.
