How do I convert Hebrew audio to text?

Sign up for free, open the dashboard and drag in your audio or video file: MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4 or WebM, up to 200MB. Choose Hebrew as the recording language, and Mesakem transcribes it and then writes the summary. You can export the summary as a Word file or share it with a link.

From file to transcript in three steps

Processing time depends on the length of the recording. When it is done, the transcript and the summary are waiting in your dashboard.

  • Upload the file from your computer
  • Choose Hebrew as the recording language
  • Read the transcript and the summary

More than a transcript

A raw transcript of an hour-long recording is hard to use. Mesakem adds a summary on top: the main points, decisions, tasks and open questions, each linked to the moment it was said.

The Hebrew recordings people bring

  • Meetings recorded on a phone or in a meeting room
  • Zoom or Teams recordings you downloaded
  • Interviews and research conversations
  • Lectures and classes

Next time, skip the upload

Connect your calendar and Mesakem joins your next Zoom, Teams or Google Meet meeting by itself, or record in person with the Windows and Mac app.

Questions and answers

Which files can I upload?

MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4 or WebM files, up to 200MB each.

How long can the recording be?

On the free plan, up to 90 minutes per recording, and each upload counts as one of your first 10 free meetings. Pro is made for longer recordings.

What if the recording mixes Hebrew and English?

Choose the main language of the recording. English names and terms inside Hebrew speech are common in Israeli recordings, so try a short recording of your own first to see how it handles yours.

Can I get the summary in English?

Yes. Set the summary language to English and the summary is written in English, while the transcript stays in Hebrew.

How much does it cost?

Your first 10 meetings are free, up to 90 minutes each, with no credit card. That is a one-time allowance, not a monthly one. Pro is $29 a month, or $19 a month billed annually, with unlimited meetings.

Is my recording private?

No. Your meetings, recordings and transcripts are not used to train AI models. They are visible to you and to the people you choose to share them with.
